One on One with Sam Sullivan
Just after accumulating 10 years of experience in municipal politics, Sam Sullivan became the mayor of Vancouver at the age of 47. Most noted him as Canada’s first physically disabled mayor. A skiing accident as a teen left Sullivan a quadriplegic, and a political career was the furthest thing from his mind.
